After 18 years of controlling and empowering the music industry in Ghana and Africa, music behemoth Lynx Entertainment has made a huge leap into the digital distribution realm.

Under Lynx Group Limited, the unstoppable Ghanaian record company has produced numerous international songs to date and fostered some of the biggest music talents on the continent.

Offering direct music distribution for labels and artists worldwide, the firm has announced a major addition to its portfolio as it approaches 20 years of existence.

To enable first-hand music distribution to global Digital Service Providers (DSP) without the need for third parties, Lynx Entertainment has teamed up with IT behemoth Vydia to supply digital infrastructure.

Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Group, claims that the audacious step is to guarantee that African artists and labels are fairly represented in the rapidly expanding digital distribution landscape.

He clarified that in order to maximize benefits for all parties involved, it is necessary to protect the interests of African artists and labels as the continent embraces the boundless potential of digital distribution.

According to Richie Mensah, African artists will no longer require the services of outside distributors or agencies because they can list their music in the comfort of their own homes on services like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, and others.

The distribution infrastructure of Lynx Entertainment provides music to over 200 retailers worldwide while guaranteeing data tracking, advanced payments, rights management, and content security.

Through a single, user-friendly platform with a clear royalty payout procedure, the premium technology enables creators to disseminate, safeguard, commercialize, and store their work.
